How do the Spotminders trackers work?

Each Spotminders tracker connects to the Find My app on your iPhone. Once paired, you can see your item's live location, play a sound to find it nearby, or enable Lost Mode. If your item ever goes missing, nearby Apple devices automatically and securely relay its location back to you.

Are Spotminders trackers compatible with Android?

Currently, Spotminders devices are optimized for Apple's Find My network. Android compatibility is being explored for the future.

What is the difference between the Tracking Card and the Tracking Card PRO?

Both deliver precise tracking but differ in design. The Tracking Card features the original minimal design, while the Tracking Card PRO looks exactly like a credit card. Both are only 1.8mm thin, making them nearly invisible in your wallet.

What is the difference between the Spotminders Tracking Card and Apple AirTag?

Both connect to Apple's Find My network, but they are designed for different purposes. The AirTag is round and best suited for keys or bags. The Spotminders Tracking Card is flat and 1.8mm thin, designed to blend into your wallet or passport cover where an AirTag cannot fit. If you prefer sleek, discreet protection, Spotminders is the smarter choice.

Is the Tracking Card waterproof?

Yes. Rated IP67, it remains fully functional after being submerged in up to 3 feet of water for 30 minutes.

Does the Tracking Card work with RFID-blocking wallets?

Yes. Spotminders trackers use Bluetooth and Apple's Find My network, not RFID, so RFID-blocking wallets will not interfere with performance.

Can I track multiple items with the Tracking Card?

How do I set up my Spotminders tracker?

Setup takes less than a minute. Open the Find My app on your iPhone. Tap Items, then Add Item, then Other Supported Item. Hold your tracker near your phone and follow the on-screen prompts to complete pairing.

Can I make my tracker play a sound?

Yes. In the Find My app, tap your Spotminders device and select Play Sound to locate it instantly.

Do Spotminders devices work globally?

Yes. All Spotminders trackers work worldwide through Apple's global Find My network.

Does the Tracking Card require charging?

Yes. The Spotminders Tracking Card features wireless charging for effortless use. Simply place it on any Qi-compatible charging pad when needed. Both the Tracking Card and Tracking Card PRO last up to 8 months per charge. A built-in LED indicator changes color to show charging progress.

Do Spotminders products use coin batteries?

No, and that is intentional. Spotminders trackers are fully rechargeable and eco-friendly, eliminating waste from single-use coin cells. It is our way of protecting both your belongings and the planet.

Can I charge it with any wireless charger?

Yes. The Spotminders Tracking Card supports Qi wireless charging including MagSafe chargers and most wireless charging pads. For the most reliable and secure fit, we recommend using the Spotminders Wireless Charger, designed specifically for the slim shape of your tracking card to ensure perfect alignment and consistent charging.
